Hi, I’m Jayda, and I’m proud to be TLC Hairdressing’s apprentice and soon-to-be emerging stylist!

Having lived in Tauranga most of my life, I’ve always been passionate about hair. According to my mum, this love began when I was just 4 years old. Even now, as a young adult, I spend my free time doing hair for my friends and family. Hairdressing has always been a huge part of who I am, and I’m thrilled to continue learning and creating in this exciting industry.

A few fun facts about me:

1. As a child, I never liked anyone touching my hair (ironic, right?).
2. I’m a chatterbox—I love having great conversations.
3. Meeting new people is one of my favourite things.
4. In high school, I was the go-to person for braiding hair.
5. Baking is a passion of mine when I’m not styling hair.
6. Hairdressing, to me, is about helping people express themselves, and I love being part of that journey.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the TLC Hairdressing family in Tauranga. I’m so excited to meet clients and help them feel amazing about themselves through personalised styling and care.
